Shape the future of our managed Kubernetes products

You will design and build test frameworks and integration pipelines for our "Golden Path" cloud-native platform. It will be used to bring new products and services to market faster by simplifying their performance, reliability, security, and operational needs. You will also build and validate continuous integration, testing, and deployment pipelines for the platform.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test II, you will be responsible for:

• Being a major contributor in developing the test frameworks and CI/CT/CD pipelines validating a Golden Path reference platform built on Kubernetes and other cloud-native technologies
• Contributing towards building the roadmap for enterprise features expected from a product platform
• Validating and testing cloud-native technologies and architectures
• Developing best practices, knowledge sharing, and mentoring
• Collaborating with engineering teams in an Agile environment
• Working in an environment that fosters innovative solutions, rapid development cycles, and open communication

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Have experience building and operating highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable production services using Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies
• Have experience leveraging CI/CD tools to achieve good software development practices
• Be familiar using infrastructure as code tools like Crossplane, Pulumi, Terraform or Ansible
• Have experience with pytest or other test automation frameworks and comfortability leveraging Python or Bash for scripting
• Possess understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP) and knowledge of Linux based operating systems
