As a member of our DevOps team, you will be responsible for the cloud infrastructure, security and systems that support our developers and our platforms.

What you’ll do

You will work with a team of engineers to deliver scalable, observable systems in a CI/CD environment. On an average day, you might:

  • Examine the capability of storage backends to meet the needs of expanding user data
  • Create or modify existing cloud infrastructure with an infrastructure-as-code approach using git as source control
  • Solicit feedback from engineering leads on improvements to software delivery and QA
  • Debug production issues using our observability and telemetry stack
  • Architect improvements to our existing platform that optimize for cost or security

Requirements

Your experience

Ideally, you have 2-3 years of professional experience with DevOps tasks such as:

  • Managing cloud-based infrastructure and container solutions (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, AWS [IAM, RDS, VPC, EKS])
  • Automating infrastructure deployments (e.g. Terraform)
  • Single sign-on integrations (SAML, OAuth, OpenID)
  • GitHub pull request-based codebase management and version control
  • Reporting, requirements management, project management
  • Automating build, testing and release management capabilities (e.g. Github Actions)
  • Implementing cloud security industry best practices (e.g. RBAC, HIDS, data recovery)
  • Developing and using monitoring, logging and alerting tools and processes (e.g. Prometheus, PLG, Pagerduty)
  • Proficiency with at least one programming language (e.g. NodeJS, Python)
